Femi Adesina refutes alleged State Security Service personnel expulsion

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina has refuted the allegation that the personnel of the State Security Service (SSS) have recently been expelled from the Presidential Villa.

In a statement issued on Wednesday June 24, 2015, Femi Adesina described the report as baseless, informing that the President has not given such order.

According to him, a reorganization of security at the Presidential Villa which involves the realignment of personnel from various services is underway and the exercise does not translate to the expulsion of DSS personnel from the premises in any way. He intensified that the changes being made are routine adjustments which are not unexpected in any dynamic environment from time to time.
