Janet Jackson honored with Icon Award at the BET Awards last night

Janet Jackson was filled with joy as she takes the stage to accept the Ultimate Icon Award during the 2015 BET Awards in Los Angeles, California, June 28.

The ''Rhythm Nation'' singer, who released her song ''No Sleep'' last week and announced her ''Unbreakable'' tour for the fall, received the ''Ultimate Icon: Music Dance Visual Award.''

''I've missed you so much,'' said the 49-year-old Jackson, thanking her fans, parents and husband, Wissam Al Mana.
