Adele and Lionel Richie finally met backstage at the 2016 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Monday night in Los Angeles.

Back when Adele first released ''Hello,'' so many parodies hit the web due to the similarities to Lionel‘s hit song of the same name.

''I’m looking for her,''Lionel said during the live stream pre-Grammys special. ''My opening line is going to be 'Hello, it's me.' And she's gonna say, 'Is it me you’re looking for?'''

''We have to do a mash-up of ‘Hello’,'' Lionel added. ''It’s coming.''
