Ekiti State: Governor declares March 8 as public holiday

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state has declared Wednesday (March 8) as work free day to celebrate the 2017 International Women's Day in the state.

In a statement on Tuesday from his Special Assistant (SA) on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, reads:

"Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has declared Wednesday, March 8, 2017 as public holiday in honour of Ekiti women to celebrate this year's International Women's Day."
