Anthony Sadler dressed in black shorts and a gray sweatshirt and carrying a black backpack arriving at Sacramento International Airport as he returned home to California on Tuesday August 25.
The 23-year-old Sacramento State University student was one of the three Americans who helped stop a terror attack on a high-speed train traveling from Amsterdam to Paris last week Friday, was accompanied by his parents while arriving home in Sacramento suburb of Rancho Cordova on Tuesday.
According to AP, Sadler and two Sacramento-area friends, U.S. Air Force Airman Spencer Stone, 23, and Oregon National Guardsman Alek Skarlatos, 22, helped subdue Ayoub El-Khazzani, a man with ties to radical Islam who was carrying a handgun and an assault weapon on the train Friday.
French President Francois Hollande had on Monday awarded the three men with the French Legion of Honor.
