Bryce Williams who shot and killed two journalists during a live broadcast in Franklin County, Virginia, Wednesday morning has shot himself on I-66, police tell WDBJ-7 in Roanoke. He is in critical condition.

''This is the suspected shooter, Vester Flanigan, who is also known as Bryce Williams. He is a former WDBJ7 employee,'' the station said on its Twitter handle alongside the photo above.

Williams boasted of the brutal murders on Facebook and Twitter.

''I filmed the shooting, see Facebook," Vester Lee Flanagan II, who went as 'Bryce Williams' on air, wrote on Twitter before his account was suspended.
