Buhari orders the dismantling of military checkpoints nationwide

President Buhari has ordered the dismantling of military checkpoints nationwide. The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Defence, Aliyu Ismaila, made this known to State House correspondents after a meeting President Buhari had with Service Chiefs at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, today June 22.

''The President had instructed the Chief of Defence Staff to get the Chief of Army Staff and Inspector-General of Police to  remove all the military men along the roads across the country,'' he said.
