Buhari’s campaign donor Hajiya Mai Talle-Tara returns from medical trip after suffering stroke

Hajiya Mai Talle-Tara has returned from her sponsored medical trip at an Iranian Hospital in United Arab Emirates city of Dubai after two weeks of intensive medical care where she was treated with a mini stroke.

The 90-year-old Nigerian businesswoman donated her life saving N1 million to the Buhari's campaign, the then All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate.

Speaking to journalists on arrival in Abuja on Sunday night October 18, Talle-Tara's daughter A'isha Isa who accompanied her mother to the Dubai trip, said she her was well taken care of.

''They gave her proper care in everything,'' she said. ''They worked very hard on her. They did all the necessary things for her. We thank the Kebbi State government for taking care of our mother. We pray God will guide them in their leadership. We also appreciate the doctor that went with us.''

According to reports, the sum of N4 million was expended by the Kebbi State government for the medical trip, which took care of their accommodation and feeding.
