The information which was contained in a circular letter signed by O. M Olaoye on behalf of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and dispatched from the Special Service Office (OSGF) on July 24, 2015 noted that the decision which came as a resolve of the Qatar authorities was scheduled to take effect from June 29, 2015 as a precautionary measure against the spread of the disease in the country.
He advised Nigerians, especially government officials to ensure that they get duly signed and stamped Yellow Book on polio and other communicable diseases before embarking on any travels to avoid embarrassment at the points of entry.
