Akon visits Tinubu, speaks at Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program

The 42-year-old American R&B and hip hop was a special guest at the Tony Elumelu FDN African Entrepreneurs session in Lagos, introducing his Solar Academy  ''Lighting Africa Project'' on the same day.

''Akon Lighting Africa soon ready to launch Solar Academy in September to train qualified and future solar entrepreneurs #TEEP #Lagos2015,'' Akon told a gathering of young Nigerian entrepreneurs.
