Fayose: I will continue to be grateful to Late general Sani Abacha

Ekiti state governor Ayodele Fayose says he will remain grateful to the late Head of State, General Sani Abacha for creating Ekiti state during his time in office.

The 54-year-old current Ekiti governor was speaking via his twitter handle on Thursday August 20.

''Abacha could have created another state, but he choose to create Ekiti State. I will continue to be grateful to him,'' Fayose said. 

He continued, ''Everything that I do on this seat, if it us of God, it will stand the test of time. Despite the current financial challenges, I will make a difference.''
