OAU orders students to remain on CAMPUS as Ife Palace prepare to announce Ooni’s Death

Students of the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, in Osun state staying on and off-campus have been advised by management through a circular sent to them to remain indoors on Wednesday August 12 as the Ife Council of Chiefs prepares its traditional rites to formally announce the death of the Ooni of Ife Oba Okunade Sijuwade Olubuse II.

The palace had on Tuesday warned all residents in Ile Ife to remain indoors on Wednesday between 9am and 5pm.
