Gamaliel Onosode dies at age 82

Foremost technocrat and boardroom Czar, Deacon Gamaliel Onosode has passed away Tuesday morning at Gold Cross Hospital, Ikoyi Lagos at about 8:15am after a protracted illness. He was 82.

According to Vanguard, Onosode was flown home yesterday from London.

Onosode was a presidential candidate on the platform of the All Nigeria People's Party of Nigeria.

He also served on the boards of several companies including Dunlop Nigeria Plc (1984–2007), Cadbury Nigeria Plc (1977–93), Nigeria LNG Limited and Zain Nigeria.

Burial arrangements will be announced by the family.
