The 68-year-old actress is believed to have secretly separated from her husband some time ago before finalizing their divorce behind closed doors.
''Glenn and David have been telling friends over the summer they are divorcing, and he'll remain living in Maine while Glenn moves back to New York full-time,'' a source told Page Six. ''They’ve been separated for some time, and things are amicable between them.''
The couple wed during an intimate ceremony held in Maine in 2006.
Meanwhile, Glenn‘s next role will be in The Great Gilly Hopkins, also starring Julia Stiles and Kathy Bates.
