President Buhari said on Tuesday that he will take personal charge of the country’s crucial oil portfolio and appoint a minister of State for Petroleum.
Buhari told reporters in New York shortly after addressing a Global Leaders’ Summit on Countering ISIL and Violent Extremism, ''I will remain Minister of Petroleum and appoint a minister of State for Petroleum''.

Meanwhile, according to the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Media and Publicity to the President, Garba Shehu, President Buhari on Wednesday, departed the United States for Abuja after a successful outing at the 70th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
