Rick Ross is engaged to girlfriend Lira Galore

Rick Ross is engaged to marry his girlfriend, Lira Galore, just a few months of dating.

Thursday night September 16 via Snapchat, the 22-year-old model revealed that she'd gotten engaged to Ross. On Friday morning, she posted shots of her engagement bling to Instagram and wrote, "Thanks @rafaelloandco for making everything EXTRA special''

The 39-year-old rapper proposed at a jewelry store  in NYC but did not get down on a knee.

According to TMZ, Ross gave the model an 11 carat diamond ring worth $350,000. The center stone alone is five carats. She also reportedly has a wedding band with six carats.

The site added, '''Ross slipped the ring on Lira's finger in NYC, in the Rafaello & Co. jewelry store. The newly engaged couple celebrated with a chicken satay dinner at Red Stixs.''

Galore's pal Amber Rose was swift to congratulate the musician on Friday on Instagram with the message ''Congrats to my girl @lira_galore and @richforever. Love is a beautiful thing.''

This will be the first marriage for both Galore (real name Lira Mercer) and Ross (real name William Leonard Roberts III).

Rick has yet to confirm the engagement and a date for the wedding has not been announced.
