Photo: Buhari recalls kinsman from retirement, appoints him DG SSS

According to Premium Times, the newly-appointed Director General of the State Security Service, Lawal Daura, retired from the SSS in 2013, having reached the statutory retirement age of 60. He hails from President Buhari's hometown 'Daura' in Katsina state. Mr Daura, 62, was recalled by Buhari to head the organization on Thursday July 2.

Daura takes over from Ita Ekpenyong who was removed by the President on Thursday July 2.
