BVN Deadline: About 26 million bank customers will have no access to their accounts

About 26 million account holders in Nigeria who still have not registered for the Bank Verification Number (BVN) will have no access to their money or any transaction in their accounts, according to the Managing Director, Ecobank Nigeria Plc, Jibril Aku.

The deadline for the exercise is on Saturday October 31 and no extension would be granted after the deadline expires.

According to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) , the registration window will still be open after tomorrow, but unregistered customers will not be granted access to their accounts.
