Real Madrid frontman, Cristiano Ronaldo just shared this pic on instagram on board a flight to Zurich for the FIFA Ballon D'or 2014. As seen above the guy is very hopeful and I personally wish him well.

The 2014 FIFA Ballon d'Or Gala will be the fifth year for FIFA's awards for the top football players and coaches of the year. The awards will be given out in Zürich Kongresshaus on 12 January 2015. All three nominated finalists have had outstanding years but the 29-year-old Real Madrid frontman is just 1/8 to be voted player of the year at tonight's ceremony in Zurich Kongresshaus.

The results for the 2014 FIFA Ballon d'Or are to be declared on 12 January 2015. The final three contenders are:
