Actress Linsey Godfrey undergoes surgery after hit by a car

Actress Linsey Godfrey who stars on ''The Bold and the Beautiful'' underwent surgery late Monday after she was hit by a car. She was walking down a Los Angeles street when a car jumped onto the sidewalk and struck her, requiring surgery following the incident.

A bystander reportedly pulled Godfrey, 26, from the wreckage before she was rushed to a hospital. Godfrey's injuries were limited to her ankles and she is expected to make a full recovery.

Godfrey's close friends took to Twitter to let her fans know she was going to be okay.

"Hey everyone. @linseygodfrey is going to be okay. She is strongest person I know & has all the Drs laughing w her usual hysterical self," wrote actress and co-star Kelly Kruger.
