O'Donnell revealed she was separating from Rounds and leaving The View to focus on her health and her children.
In the docs, O'Donnell says they've been separated since November.
O'Donnell and Rounds wed quietly in June of 2012 at their home in Nyack, New York.
They have shared custody of Dakota, the 2-year-old daughter they adopted together.
O'Donnell has four older children with her ex partner Kelli Carpenter.
