Serena Williams gets treatment the day before rain delays her grand slam quest at the US Open

Serena Williams pictured getting some treatment before her semifinal match at the US Open against Italian world number 43 Roberta Vinci which was scheduled on Thursday but it was postponed until Friday morning due to rain.

''Working and getting treatment in my room @StRegisNewYork before my match tomorrow #USOpen,'' the 33-year-old American world number one tennis ace tweeted the before day her match.

Williams, if progresses Friday, would face either world No. 2 Simona Halep or Vinci's fellow Italian, Flavia Pennetta, in Saturday's final. The American is bidding to become the first player since Steffi Graf in 1988 to win all four grand slams in the same season.
