Buhari to attend SilverBird 35th anniversary, Senator Murray-Bruce reveals he founded Silverbird with N20k loan in 1980

President Buhari will be present at the Silverbird 35th anniversary celebration which will be held on November 21st, according to a statement on Senator Ben Murray-Bruce's Twitter account on Monday.

''I am so glad to announce that President @mbuhari has accepted to be the Special Guest of honour at #Silverbirdat35 on November 21. #Silverbirdat35 Spread the word. President @mbuhari will be there and so should you. Mark the date-November 21!''

Earlier in the day, the Senator revealed how he founded the TV station with just N20k loan from his dad in 1980.

''I founded #Silverbirdat35 in 1980 with a ₦20k loan from my father and on November 21st we will be celebrating 35 years. Thank you Nigeria!''
