A source told Daily Post that the baby was found inside an uncompleted building located at Idimu-Alo Street in Ondo with his placenta and other parts of his body intact.
The baby was discovered by a passersby who heard him crying while passing at the area Wednesday morning.
Although, it was not certain whether or not the baby was dumped in the uncompleted building by his mother, it was rumoured that a woman could have perpetrated the dastardly act.
The Divisional Police Officer ( DPO) in charge of the area , Mr Kunle Omisakin, a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) confirmed the development, saying investigations have commenced on the matter.
The baby, according Omisakin has been taken to a motherless baby’s home in the community, assuring that the baby is in a safe custody
