Governor Wada reinstates sacked LG Chairmen

The local government council chairmen in Kogi that were sacked last year through an order of a High Court sitting in Kotonkarfe, have been reinstated by the state governor Idris Wada on Tuesday in obedience to the Court of appeal ruling which ordered their immediate reinstatement.

However, the situation of some of the Chairmen who defected to the opposition APC is yet to be defined as the statement directing them to resume office was silent on the defectors.
