Chief H.I.D Awolowo's golden casket brought in a white carriage as the late matriarch will be laid to rest on Wednesday at her ancestral home in Ikenne, Ogun state.
Mama Awolowo, the wife of the first premier of the Western Region, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, died at the age of 99 on Saturday September 19.
The Nigerian Senate President Bukola Saraki, Oyo state governor Abiola Ajimobi, Osun state governor Rauf Aregbesola, Imo state governor Rochas Okorocha are among the dignitaries attending the burial ceremony.
