Duvier, 43, who has been working with the family since 2012, was not with the 36-year-old reality star as at the time of the incident. He was out at a Paris nightclub providing protection for Kim's sisters Kourtney and Kendall and according to reports the mother of two did not blame her bodyguard for what happened.
"Pascal, along with a couple other security members of their team, were recently let go by Kim and Kanye, a source told Entertainment Weekly. ''It's a pretty tough situation overall and they love Pascal, but they couldn't take any more chances."
While another source told Us Weekly that the decision wasn't personal, it was simply down to a "complete overhauling of security after the incident."
