UNGA: ‘I Have So Many Friends Going To Your Countries Trying To Get Rich’ – Trump Tells African Leaders

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari and other African leaders on Wednesday attended a luncheon hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump held at Palace Hotel at the sidelines of the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.

”Africa has tremendous business potential. I have so many friends going to your countries trying to get rich, ”the former real estate developer told the African leader at the lunch. ”I congratulate you. They’re spending a lot of money. Six of the world’s ten fastest-growing economies are in Africa.”
