Kobe Bryant speaks out for the first time about Lamar Odom's hospitalization

Kobe Bryant took to his Twitter handle on Wednesday October 15 to talk about his friend and former Los Angeles Lakers teammate Lamar Odom's hospitalization, who is fighting for his life after suffering heart failure at a brothel.

''When we feel the need to question the support of others in moments as critical as a life hanging in the balance, then we must question the kind of culture we have created that has led us to such insensitive suspicion,'' the 37-year-old basketball player said on Twitter. He added the hashtag ''#JustPray.''

Kobe ( below left) was spotted while arriving to Las Vegas to be at Lamar's bedside in the hospital.
