Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, and Selena Gomez are not the only three to grace individual covers - Miley Cyrus, Victoria Beckham, Madonna, and Mert Alas, Laverne Cox, Diplo, A$AP Rocky, Riccardo Tisci, Ai Weiwei, Snoop Dogg, Cher, Kendall Jenner, Carine Roitfeld, Alexander Wang, Zoë Kravitz, and Willow Smith are also featured in this month’s huge issue.
"We invited each subject to use this opportunity to create something powerful and personal: the utmost expression of themselves," Editor-in-Chief Keith Pollock said about the portraits. "We definitely encouraged them to push the limits, but we weren't interested in steering them in any way. Our aim was to allow them to create an image that reflects the way the subjects see themselves. And the way they want to be seen."
