Eritrean government said they never mandated their men to marry two wives contrary to reports in the media across the African continent, according to PM News citing Eritrea, Ministry of Information.
Here's what the Ministry of Information had to share with the publication after PM News wrote, wanting to get a clarification on the matter.
''This is false,'' the Ministry of Information said. ''And the document in circulation is forged. This report is a hoax. Eritrea’s Penal Code does not permit polygamy.''
