BREAKING: Former president Jonathan's aides Bala Mohammed, Reuben Abati arrested

Former Special Adviser to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan on Media Reuben Abati has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes (EFCC) as well as the Former FCT Minister Bala Mohammed.

On Abati's part, according to reports, is being interrogated over allegation of collecting about N100 million from the former National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki.

The reason for Bala's arrest has not been made known.

The arrest of Abati and Bala makes it at least four former aides of Jonathan who are currently in EFCC custody.

A former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, is still with the commission since last week Monday when he voluntarily surrendered himself after staying months away from the country.

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Jonathan campaign spokesperson, was arrested on Friday and is still with the commission.
