Kidnapped former minister Laurentia, husband regain freedom

The immediate past minister of environment Laurentia Laraba Mallam who was kidnapped on Monday night (October 3) along with her 73 years old husband Pius Malam in Bwari/Jere axis along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway have been released and are in good health, the Kaduna Police spokesperson, Aliyu Usman confirmed this development to reporters.

It was not clear if ransom was paid.
