5 killed in Borno twin bomb blasts

At least five people killed and many more wounded after a twin bomb blasts hit Kimba area of the Biu Local Government Area (LGA) and Sabon-Ngeri, both located in Borno State on Friday.

The first suicide bombing occurred in Kimba village of Biu Local Government Area (LGA) at 8:30am, which reportedly killed two people.

A Civilian Joint Task Force (JTF) member from Biu commented on the attack saying: ''A male detonated a bomb killing an elderly man along with him.''

According to preliminary information, the second attack that took place at 12pm in Sabon Gari have killed three people.
