Oscar-nominated actor Robert Loggia, who is perhaps best known for his roles in the films ''Scarface'' and ''Big,'' has passed away, Variety reported on Friday. He was 85.

Loggia was nominated for an Academy Award in the 1986 movie ''Jagged Edge.'' He also received an Emmy nomination for his role in the television series “Mancuso FBI,” according to Variety.
