Nigeria could have collapsed if Jonathan was re-elected – Oshiomhole

Edo Governor, Comrade Adams Os­hiomhole said on Saturday in the capital Benin that the country would have collapsed if former President Goodluck Jonathan had won.

According to Oshiomhole, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) under President Good­luck Jonathan squandered the resources of the state in run­ning their party and individual homes rather than the nation.

''President Buhari has a huge task of rebuilding a country that has been so grossly mismanaged,'' he said. ''I believe God loves Nigeria so much that he gave us Buhari at the time he did. You can imagine if Jonathan had continued in office where we could have been today.''

Oshiomhole stated this while receiving over 5,000 members of the PDP in the three senatorial districts of  Edo  including the immediate past Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Power, Patrick Ikhariale; Abbas Braimah; and  Bisi Idaomi.
