BAYELSA: Materials hijacked despite heavy presence of security men, sporadic shooting taking place (PHOTO)

''The rerun election in Southern ijaw with over 120,000 registered voters is on.materials arrived most of the polling stations early and as expected, some were hijacked. Despite the heavy presence of security men,sporadic shooting took place in some of the communities with people running for their dear lives.Some were injured..Southern Ijaw has become a theatre of war in the past weeks with the two main gladiators in the race Timipre Sylva of the APC and incumbent Seriake Dickson trying to outdo each other..So far,Dickson is leading in Six LGA while Sylva has one..Any majority victory in Southern Ijaw by any of the candidate could upturn the final result due to its high population but so far the odd favours the incumbent..accreditation and voting are going on simultaneously ..Final result is expected to be announced in few hours time..
