Buhari writes N'Assembly to correct errors in 2016 budget

President Buhari has written to the National Assembly to formally request the withdrawal of the 2016 budget he had presented to a joint session of the federal legislature last year December 22 for adjustment.

The president had discovered after presenting the 2016 budget that some of the figures proposed for operations in the Presidency and the State House were being publicly criticized as outrageous and higher than those of the former President Jonathan (2015 budget).

Buhari has directed the recall of the 2016 budget from the National Assembly for review
