This charge was contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the body’s acting Chairman, Isaac Danlandi and acting Secretary, Alloy Chukwuemeka.
The statement described the murder of Abubakar as shocking, noting that it was a great loss to the football family.
The club owners, however, asked security agencies to rise to the challenge posed by his death and ensure that the killers were apprehended and brought to book.
They also condoled with the President, Board, Congress, Management and Staff of the NFF over the death of Abubakar.
The statement further stated that the late Abubakar, known as ‘Ibro’ among his colleagues, was one of the best and finest staff in the Nigeria football house.
''His strongest strength has been hard work, good inter personal relationship and contact – network, mostly with the relevant bodies and individuals in the general sports and non-sports sectors,'' the statement added.
