'The Godfather' actor Abe Vigoda is dead

Abe Vigoda has passed away, according to his daughter who confirmed the sad news said he died in his New Jersey home. Abe died from natural causes. He was 94.

His wife passed away back in 1992 and he is survived by his only daughter Carol Vigoda Fuchs.

Abe was well known for his roles of mobster Tessio in The Godfather and Detective Sgt. Fish in Barney Miller. He has also appeared on Broadway several times throughout his career.
