Buhari directs immediate payment of December salaries

President Buhari has ordered the immediate payment of December salaries to all Federal civil servants, according to the Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, who made this known at the end of the monthly Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) meeting on Tuesday December 22 in Abuja.

Adeosun said salaries were being paid in response to the Presidential directive, and that people have already started getting alerts.

''We are very conscious of the need that people are paid in time for the festive season,'' she stated.
