Glenn Frey, guitarist for the Eagles and one of the band's founding members, has passed away after battling intestinal issues over the past several months that took a turn for the worse over the past several days, TMZ reported.
He was 67.
Glenn was an amazing musician who helped write famous Eagles songs including ''take It Easy,'' ''Tequila Sunrise,'' ''Lyin’ Eyes,'' and ''Heartache Tonight,'' as well as other hits including ''Hotel California.''
The Eagles were scheduled to appear at last month’s Kennedy Center Honors but pulled out due to Glenn‘s health issues, citing a long recovery time.
