Presidency responds to 'Lopsided Appointments' allegation by Southern leaders

The presidency has faulted the Southern political leaders' position, saying the conclusions are by no means original.

''They are rehash of the same hackneyed phrases used by those in the opposition to government,'' Presidential spokesman on media and publicity, Femi Adesina said in a statement last night. ''The time used at the meeting would have been better spent if original ideas had been put forward to advance the change process going on in the country. But…it’s only those who live in denial of it that would be marooned in the past. The Buhari administration will not be distracted. Discerning Nigerians know the truth.''
